Guest Biography
Dr. Robert Eckel is a professor of physiology, medicine and biophysics at the University of Colorado at Denver. A former president of the American Heart Association, he received the Moses Barron Award from the American Diabetes Association and was voted among the "Best Doctors in America" in 1994 and 1995. Dr. Eckel earned his M.D. from the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine and has written numerous articles for medical publications. He and his wife, Margaret, have five children.
