Carol Kent is an author and public speaker. She is also the president of Speak up Speaker Services, a Christian speakers bureau, and the founder of Speak Up for Hope, a non-profit organization helping families of prisoners. Carol's books include A New Kind of Normal, When I Lay My Isaac Down and Secret Longings of the Heart. She and her husband, Gene, have one son.
