Guest Biography
Elisabeth Elliot is a well-known author, speaker and former missionary. She was married to Jim Elliot who was martyred in 1956 along with four other missionaries while attempting to minister to the Waodoni people in Ecuador — a story captured in the 2006 film End of the Spear. Elisabeth has written more than 30 books including Passion and Purity and Through Gates of Splendor. She has one grown daughter and eight grandchildren. Elisabeth and her husband, Lars, reside in Massachusetts.
