Guest Biography
Kay Warren is an author, a speaker and the co-founder — along with her husband, Rick — of Saddleback Church in southern California, one of the largest churches in the nation. Kay has been involved in a number of projects designed to help suffering people around the world. She is the founder of the HIV/AIDS Initiative at Saddleback Church and was instrumental in presenting the church's first HIV/AIDS conference — now an annual event. Kay is also involved with the P.E.A.C.E. Plan which challenges Christians to tackle global problems like poverty and disease. Kay has authored two books and currently writes a column for the newly launched Purpose Driven Connection magazine. She has also written for Christianity Today, CNN.com and The Washington Post. Kay and Rick have three children and four grandchildren.
