Guest Biography
Kimberly Smith is the president and co-founder of Make Way Partners. She and her organization built the first orphanage on the border of Darfur, Sudan, and they are now working on an indigenous orphan-care network for the nearly one million orphans in Sudan. Kimberly is a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, and in her spare time enjoys reading, writing and the outdoors.
Jacci Knight has been serving as a producer for the Focus on the Family daily radio broadcast for the past five years. She has also felt a calling to the mission field since her first missionary trip to Arad, Romania in 1998. Jacci worked in Romania for more than four years with Global Hope, a non-profit organization dedicated to caring for the needs of orphaned and abandoned Romanian children.
Steve Reiter recently stepped down as a supervising editor for the Focus on the Family daily radio program to take on a new role as a broadcasting assistant to Dr. James Dobson. A native of Wisconsin, Steve graduated with a degree in recording technology from the Madison Media Institute. He and his wife, Elizabeth, have been married nearly 10 years and have two sons.
