Take this test to evaluate your thought process when it comes to dieting, weight and body image.

- I keep thinking that if I could just lose a few pounds, everything in life would be better.
- I feel that a curvy body is not as attractive as one that is bony and thin.
- I am tried of worrying about weight and food all the time.
- I am afraid to look in the mirror when I am naked.
- I frequently look in the mirror to judge my body against the ideal I have in my mind.
- I pay particular attention to one part of my body. When I notice it getting bigger, I punish myself in some way.
- A small weight gain can send me into a binge or cause me to significantly limit my eating for several days.
- Feeling hungry scares me.
- I have a hard time falling asleep if my belly feels full.
- I have "fat clothes" for those days when I fear I've gained too much weight.
- I believe my weight and the size of my body directly affect the respect I get at work and from my peers.
- I think that people choose whether to accept or reject me based on how I look.
- Sometimes I wish I could just go someplace totally secluded where I wouldn't have to worry about my weight.
